yinchuan is the capital city of ningxia hui autonomous region. the old sector of yinchuan city to the west is green and peaceful, and contains all the places of interest, including haibao pagoda, chengtiansi pagoda, and the west xia imperial tombs known as the 'pyramids of china'. one can also find a variety of chinese cultures in the old city. the spectacular sand settings, gorgeous waterscape, ancient yellow river civilization, and mysterious west xia kingdom depicts the history of a splendid city’s image.
