中国椰城——海口
海口是海南省省会，海南省政治、文化、经济、交通中心。因地处海南岛北端，为南渡江出海之处，故名海口。海口北临琼州海峡，与雷州半岛遥相对峙。水碧天蓝，长夏无冬，全城遍植椰树，四季常青，婆娑多姿。海口市游览胜地主要有：“海南第一楼”之称的五公祠、坐落于海口市西郊的海瑞墓、金牛岭公园以及众多风光秀丽的海滨浴场。
the capital of hainan province, haikou is the center of the province in politics, culture, economic and transportation. it is located in the entrance to the sea, hence it was called. it is bordered by qiongzhou strait in the north and is facing leizhou peninsula. with green water and blue sky, it is summer all the year around. coco tree densely scattered in the city are verdant and beautiful in four seasons. the main scenic site include: wugong temple reputed as "first mansion of hainan", hairui tomb in the west suburb of haikou, jinniuling park and many elegant coast bathhouses.
