西安，古称长安，陕西省省会，是我国著名的历史文化名城，深深沉淀的历史，使它与雅典、开罗、罗马一起被誉为世界四大文明古都。有着3100多年的建城史的西安，先后有周、秦、汉、唐等13个王朝在这里建都。西安文化遗产极为丰富。被誉为“世界第八奇迹”的秦始皇兵马俑坑，保存完整的古城墙，及周沣镐、秦阿房宫、汉长安城、唐大明宫等四大遗址，皆为人类珍贵的历史文化遗产
xi’an, formerly known as chang’an, is the capital city of shaanxi province. the historical city, xian, together with athens, cairo and rome is entitled as four civilized ancient capitals in the world. it served as china’s capital for 13 dynasties, and has over 3100 years of city history. xi’an’s main tourist attractions include: the terracotta warriors and horses, the ancient city wall, the palace of tang dynasty and qin emperor’s palace, etc.
