世界文化遗产——大足石刻
1999年被联合国教科文组织世界遗产委员会列为《世界遗产名录》的大足石刻，规模宏大，艺术精湛，内容丰富，与敦煌莫高窟、云冈石窟、龙门石窟并驾齐驱。大足石刻是重庆市大足县境内表现摩崖造像艺术的石窟总称。这里有石刻造像群70多处，总计10万多躯，以佛教造像为主，儒、道教造像并陈，是中国晚期石窟造像艺术的典范，已成为中国西南地区的重要旅游风景区，其知名度响彻海内外。
dazu grottoes, which was listed into by united nations educational, scientific and cultural organization in 1999 boasts same with reputation with mogao grottoes in dunhuang, yungang grottoes and longmen grottoes for its great scale, skillful technology and rich content.dazu rock carving is the general term for grottoes in dazu county. among more than 70 sites and over 100,000 images, most are buddhist but there are confucian and taoist images, which makes it a good example in chinese later period grotto art. as an important scenic attraction in the southwest china, it is so famous in domestic and abroad.
