the capital city, canberra, is a crystallization of planned modern urban city. as australia’s largest inland city and the eighth largest australian city overall, canberra is located at the spacious valleys. canberra enjoys a beautiful and mild day all year around and also is reputed as the garden city in the oceania due to its elegant and scenic environment. the molonglo river, a tributary of the murrumbidgee river, flows through canberra. but the administrative regions, business & residential areas were separated via the circular & radial road due to the novel city planning. different to many other cities, it is unusual among australian cities, being an entirely purpose-built, planned city.
